Sandara Park

Continuing my celebrity motif, I dreamt about Sandara Park this morning. Sandara is a Korean actress who’s currently working here in the Philippines.

This is the third time I’ve dreamt about Sandara (“Sandy” to her fans). The first time I dreamt about her, the dream looked like this:

This is from Sandy’s TV musical special "Sandara: Ang Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas". In the TV special, she wore a pink gown. I changed it to blue to match my dream. As Sandy sang on stage, I, along with the rest of the audience, milled around the stage.

In my second dream, I was at this shindig at a place that looked like a cross between Intramuros and a Chinese garden. It was early evening and Sandy and I were leaning against a huge rectangular well that’s made of stone. Sandy seemed transfixed by a lake in front of us. It was covered in fog giving it a dream-like quality. I looked at the well behind us and noted that it was very old and covered with moss. I was about to ask Sandy if they had wells like that in Korea when suddenly, the party ended. People climbed up the stone stairs to where Sandy and I were. Among those people was Shaina Magdayao…but that’s another story.

In my dream this morning, I was supposedly going to this big movie premiere. I didn’t know which movie it was (Star Wars? Transformers?). I later found out that it was Sandy’s new movie. In this dream, I didn’t get to see Sandy in person. Instead, I saw scenes of her at the premiere where she’d sing to the audience before the movie was shown. But instead of singing in front of the audience, she was in the lodge/deluxe section moving up and down the stairs as she sang. In one scene, she was singing to a group of high school girls, much to their delight.

The scene shifted outside the movie house where a group of people discussed Sandy’s next show. It was an out-of-town show commemorating Rizal Day. The show was set up by…well, I’m not gonna say who they are except that they’re a powerful political family.
